Week-End Sauvage Online

Armed Force S.C.

Hi Simon,

I hope your travel back to home was ok. The Saturday, except for the ride-out shower, was a great day. The party took place in a very good atmosphere and although our exhaustion we've enjoyed it a lot.

As promised here's attached my article about the
AFSC I've put in our last "weekend-Sauvage" scooterist fanzine issue.
http://site.ifrance.com/wes/default.htm

and here below the translation:

"If you ever dreamed to become a scooterist general or to march from the campsite to the evening do's, then the AFSC should be for you. Despite a martial name, this SC does not muster a drunken soldiery fascinated by the scooter. Though the numerous members originate mostly from military or medical European corps, one understands easily to the reading of the site that the duty of this club is on the rallies and no under the flags. Simply designed, this very British looking site is full of sections devoted to the rallies reports, scooter restorations, charity do's (English obliges) and links towards sites about Northern Soul, Skin, Mod, Ska,… And all these web pages are adorned with high quality pictures. In any case, when looking the club activities, even the allergic ones to the "khaki" won't deny the club implication in the genuine scooterist culture."

I hope you'd understand my average English translation and won't misunderstand some 2nd degrees it contains. I hope they still sound as 2nd degrees in English as well.
The article is only based on the website's reading and I've tried to be as objective and honest to the feeling I've got from it. In any case, for a French, the whole sense and feeling about the AFSC from the article's reading is a very positive one.

thanks again to have attended to our rally,

see you soon,

Stephane Galambos
