5 .... Married? Wife's name, kids? ages etc... Yes, to beautiful Sharon with two wonderful children, hippy Richard aged 14 & Cheeky little Bethany Alice aged 5.
6 .... Hobbies other than soul/Scootering Rugby League & Cricket. We watch the Bradford Bulls & are all members of YCCC, even the little monster. It may sound boring but I get to drink all day while keeping her who must be obeyed happy.
7 .....Plastic Scooters yes, no not bothered I Would like to be modern & tolerant here but I can't help thinking they water the scene down. They may be modern and have the latest technology but they still look like they are short of a shopping trolley. However, each to their own.
8 .... 3 Favourite Soul/Scootering events/venues of the past.... It has to be Scarborough Rallies. My first was in 82 as a young Mod travelling on the train. Every time I go back I have loads of happy memories.
9 .... Favourite Soul/Scootering events/venues of the present.... Local ride outs and club events. Its really good that local clubs work together now rather than working in competition as was sometimes the case. Thanks in my area should go to the Yorkshire Scooter Alliance for working so hard to achieve this.
10 .... 5 Favourite Scooters Custom or model My favourite scooter is a traditional Lambretta GP which was miles ahead of its time in regard to looks when it came out and still looks great. Having said this I have a soft spot for Vespa's as they appeal to my keep it safe nature.
11 .... 5 Favourite present sounds.... Northern, The Who, The Jam, Small faces etc etc; Too many to bother mentioning them all & nothing that will surprise anybody.
12 .... 3 Favourite albums.... Once upon a time in Wigan which is the sound track to a musical about the Wigan Casino that I can't stop playing, the original Quadrophenia and the Gift by the Jam
13 .... Favourite non soul/Scooter/Mod singer/group.... Queen, Oasis & even a bit of classical if the mood takes me.
14 .... Person you would like to be stranded on a dessert Island with (Apart from Sharon).... Anybody who understands the beer brewing process & how to achieve the perfect pint with no equipment or ingredients.
