Me and me Julie decided that we would travel to the above event as it was close by and looked like it could be a good meet.  We met up with Dai and Elaine at the hotel and decided that a good drink of brandy would be a good idea to warm up the cockles ( not pickers) before we hit Braunschweig. John Wymark joined us with his sister in law and directed us to the Club Swanansee (i believe the translation is Swan Lake) which should have been a dead giveaway from the start. Met up with Steve Evans mit wife Barbara, Borgo and Marion, the music kicked in and can only be described as obscure northern, however not to be too disheartened they did have porn being shown on widescreen in the men’s toilets. Then something weird happened, they stated to play Elton John records and 70's retro disco, the ladies loved it. Lisa then pointed out to me that i was being eyed up, i immediately turned round looking for the blonde with big norks, only to be met by the eyes of a very young virile German YMCA dancer, YES we were in the Blue Oyster club wot a laugh.
